Education Business Partnership (EBP)

Supported by a board of strategic local employers, the Education Business Partnership has many years’ experience engaging its network of employers in activities, events and motivational programmes which enable young people to broaden horizons and become aware of employment opportunities.

The wide range of activities and events develop team building, problem solving and enterprise skills; provide opportunities for work tasters and meaningful work experience; and encourage young people to investigate impartial ‘real world’ careers information which is directly linked to local employment opportunities and key growth sectors.

For young people these interventions raise achievement and aspiration; support progression and decision making, and develop employability skills to be ‘work ready’.

Programmes, activities and events include:

  • Management of work Experience Scheme for Schools
  • Leonardo hospitality & catering work placements in Paris
